What we do
The ESU team aims to support WIT staff in developing their knowledge and skills in seamlessly blending information and communication technologies into Teaching, Learning and Assessment activities to support learning interactions. Therefore, we offer a range of services including basic support, generic and specialized training workshops (both one to one and group orientated), consultancy and customized development.
How we do it
There are three full time staff in the eLearning Support Unit (Laura, Cathal and V) who are all about eLearning. Jenny, Fiona and Conor work part time but we all believe in doing our job to the best of our abilities and having some fun while we do it! We try to stay informed of latest developments so we are continually researching and experimenting when we find a quiet moment and keep share our thoughts on the group blog.
Where to find us
Our offices are based in the Luke Wadding Library on the main WIT campus. Call to our eLearning helpdesk, located inside the front doors or drop into the rest of the team located in LB.32, located on the bottom floor of the library near the staff reading room.

Browse our selection of forthcoming eLearning related workshops. We facilitate a wide range of training workshops varying from Getting started with Moodle, podcast production, to the Use of Social Media in Education, and a Lunchtime Seminar Series of lectures.

- Training & support in using the WIT Virtual Learning Environment , namely Moodle
